A W I   Consu  l  t ing was started in 1999 by Tony Ieradi. At that time, Tony was working for a local, legendary convenience store chain named Wawa Food Markets . He has been working in the information technology arena since he was fresh out of high school. Throughout his career, Tony has held numerous positions in the field ranging from Computer Operator to Sr. Director of Data Center Management.

Tony is a senior level information technology business leader with targeted expertise designing, implementing, and supporting global IT business solutions in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and retail industries. He is an IT infrastructure and operations expert, and has 20 years’ experience managing individuals, teams, and vendors with both technical and operational focus. He is an innovative, self-starting professional with proven successes across all phases of complex and strategic operational and technology initiatives.

Prior to partnering with  WGroup, Tony was an IT Consultant for Data Center Transformation & Migration for Shire Pharmaceutical. He worked with the IT leadership and business teams to evaluate, plan, and execute the migration of the infrastructure and services of key data centers to a new facility. He also acted as Program Execution Manager for a global site separation project with a very aggressive timeline. He was instrumental in providing input and expertise for the creation of the data center strategy, disaster recovery plan, selection of internal and 3rd party resources, and oversight of the entire data center program initiatives.

As Senior Director, Data Center & Infrastructure Management at AmerisourceBergen, Tony was responsible for the direction and supervision of the company’s highly available enterprise-wide data centers as well as 250+ connected end-points. He established enterprise infrastructure standards, procedures, best practices, and operational processes, as well as vendor relationships saving significant on capital and expense budgets. He led the design and operational effectiveness program for new data centers as part of a Data Center Consolidation Program. He was also a core member of the enterprise ITSM team that was established to evaluate, select, and implement a single-platform ITIL based package for organization-wide use (Service Now).

As Director of End User Technologies & Regional Coordination at AmerisourceBergen, Tony oversaw the teams responsible for end-user technologies including personal computing, mobility, audio-video, and telecommunications. He acted as a corporate IT liaison and partner to an outsourced service provider (IBM) and regional IT teams throughout the US and Canada. He led the creation of a BYOD mobility program resulting in $1.4M in annualized savings and provided the groundwork for an enterprise-wide mobility strategy. He partnered with IT Finance on an RFP for a Consolidated Computing Platform program that selected a single vendor for computer, thin client, tablet, and peripheral purchases (DELL) resulting in over $10M in expected capital and maintenance savings. He also directed the Telephony Assessment, Remediation, and Roadmap (TARR) program that consolidated disparate phone systems at 30+ locations into a centralized PBX environment that was highly scalable and available resulting in $1.5M savings in annualized maintenance costs.

Tony has held numerous roles as an IT leader throughout his career focused on data center, infrastructure and end user technologies management. With each initiative, he has partnered with top business executives to prioritize needs across the enterprise to develop short and long-term organizational roadmaps. He has established enterprise-wide procedures, implemented best practices, and executed operational processes throughout organizations to create the optimal infrastructure framework, deliver improved service delivery and realize ultimate savings.
